Maurauder faction part 3

Bon maintenant on attaque les gros boys avec les pistolets qui font mal. Tout d'abord le marauder Hulk. J'ai essaye d'avoir un rendu plus clair pour la peau avec différents brossage a sec de vert de plus en plus diluer avec du jaune. L'armure est sur une base de bleue clair puis de métal. Je fais ensuite un lavis noir suivit de brossage a sec métal.  Pour finir la figs, j'ai donne un effet rouille sur une partie de l'armure.
On passe ensuite goblin weapon team. Figs assez marrante. Pour le canon, j'ai suivi le même schéma bleu/métal/lavis noir et touille sur le bas de caisse. Pour les deux gobelins, schéma très classic.

So now, I'm working on the big boyz with big guns that will hurt. First, marauder Hulk. I tried to have a better shiny render for the minis. I highlight several time with drybrush of green mix with yellow. The armor is on the basis on blue color follow by metal. Than a wash with dark color and drybrush with metal. To finish, I made a rusty effect on some part of the armor.
Than I have the goblin weapon team. Minis funny and well done. For the gun, same way blue/metal/black wash and rust on the bottom of the gun. Nothing special for the two goblins.

Maurauder faction part 2

On continue sur les marauders avec de nouvelles réalisations aujourd'hui. En premier le pyro ou je me suis bien amuse avec l'effet rouille sur le réservoir. Toujours la même technique pour la rouille que j'ai présenté précédemment. Ensuite deux figs que je trouve particulièrement fun, les maw beast. Je les trouve bien mieux réussi que les chiens de la faction plague. Je suis reste sur une couleur verte pour la peau et j'ai fait deux thèmes pour la crinière. Une en rouge/orange/jaune (ma préféré) et une marron/kaki/blanc. Toujours autant de plaisir a peindre ces figs.

Still working on my marauders with new minis today. First the pyro where I enjoyed to use (again) the rusty effect on the tank behind him. Still same technic for this effect as I presented before. Next two minis that I found particularly fun, the mawbeast. I think they are much better than the plague dog. I stick to the green color for the skin and try 2 variations for the mane. One red/orange/yellow and one brown/white. Still a pleasure to paint these minis.

AWI 2nd corps des partisans: Lee's legion

Salut tout le monde, une petite digression de Deadzone qui approche de la fin. J'ai un petit peu travaille sur les figs perry de la guerre d’indépendance américaine. Après avoir fait quelques essaies sur les riflemen, je me suis attaque aux figs du 2nd corps des partisans aussi nomme Lee's legion. Je vous mets un petit résume de l'histoire de wikipedia. Pour la peinture, un grand merci au gens du new-wab forum pour leur aide sur les uniformes et leur feddback intéressants.

Hi everyone, no deadzone today that is close to the end. I worked a bit on the perry miniature for the American War of Independance. After trying to paint riflemen, I started the miniature for the 2nd partisan corps also known as Lee's legion, I post a bit of history from wikipedia. For the painting, thanks to people from new-wab forum for their help about uniform and feedback.

Lee's Legion (also known as the 2nd Partisan Corps) was a military unit within the Continental Army during the American Revolution. It primarily served in the Southern Theater of Operations, and gained a reputation for efficiency and bravery on the battlefield and ruthlessness equal to that of Tarleton's Raiders.

The original unit was raised June 8, 1776, at Williamsburg, Virginia, under the command of Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee for service with the 1st Continental Light Dragoons of the Continental Army. On April 7, 1778, the Legion left the 1st CLDs and became known as Lee's Legion. It included elements of both cavalry and foot, and typically was uniformed with short green woolen jackets and white linen or doeskin pants, somewhat mimicking the British Legion in appearance. When Lord Cornwallis moved his British Army into North Carolina, Lee's Legion entered South Carolina to protect that colony, to intimidate Loyalists and harass British expeditions. Often, the Legion served with Francis Marion and Thomas Sumter in these missions. In 1781, it participated in Pyle's Massacre and the Siege of Ninety Six.

The Legion saw considerable action at the Battle of Guilford Court House, and the retaking of South Carolina. The Legion was disbanded at Winchester, Virginia, on November 15, 1783.

United States Marshal Robert Forsyth was a member of Lee's Legion.

Maurauder faction part 1

Allez dernière ligne droite dans la peinture des factions avec la dernière en attendant les astarians en juin. Il me restera que les mercenaires et le MVP. Premières impressions sont très bonnes pour ces figs. J'aime beaucoup la gravure, beaucoup de détails un vrai plaisir a peindre.

So it is the last faction to paint before the reception of the astarian in june. I will have than to finish the mercs and the MVP. The first look to these minis are really goods. I like them, well details, I really appreciated to paint them.

Enforcer faction part 4

Voila le dernier post sur les enforcers. On termine avec le big boss. Cape bleue selon le même modèle que précédemment. J'ai choisi de prendre la tête avec le casque et pas celle avec le visage apparent. Dégradé de bleue aussi sur la lame. Figs très sympa qui rappel pas mal les terminators de chez GW mais suffisamment différent pour avoir sa propre personnalité. Le socle est fait avec la peinture texture astrogranite. Et pour finir la photo de famille.

So last post for the enforcers. let's fnish with the boss. blue cape as described before. I choose to build the guys with the helmet and not with the face and the blue blade. This mini is really cool, remind me a bit the terminator from GW but enough different to have his own spirit. The bases is done with texture paint astrogranite. To finish the family picture.

Aujourd'hui une trêve dans les articles deadzone. Récemment je me baladais sur le forum des jeux d'histoire  (http://new-wab.forumactif.org/) et j’étais vraiment emballe par les photos sur la guerre d’indépendance américaine. Comme je cherchais un nouveau projet pour suivre après deadzone, j'ai décidé de monter une armée continentale américaine. Commande passée chez architect of war un lundi, commande reçu le mercredi, voila une boutique a recommander, en plus les frais de port sont gratuit en se moment. La commande se séparera en deux temps. Premièrement j'ai pris des riflemen, milice continentale, lee's legion, l'artillerie et les renforts français. Dans un deuxième temps je commanderais la cavalerie (les nouvelles refs Perry) et les futures boites infanteries de lignes plastiques prévues pour avril.  Pour commencer, quelques photos des riflemens.

Today, I will change of subject, no more deadzone. Recently, I was on the WAB forum of historical wargame (http://new-wab.forumactif.org/) and I was very impress by pictures about american war of independance. So because I was looking to a new project after deadzone, I decided to start a american army. I ordered my stuff from internet architect of war shop (order passed on monday recieved on wednesday). I really recommanded this shop, in addition it is free shipping for now. The order will be separeted in two waves: first riflemen, militia, lee's legion, artillery and french forces. Second wave will be the new ref of cavalery from perry and the futur plastic box release in april. To start, I show you some riflemen:
